
Sally Rothacker-Peyton
Drawn to the work of Oh’ Shinnah Fastwolf, Sally studied with her and other Native women for many years. She is a retired university professor and nurse educator with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). With over 40 years as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and nurse practitioner, she has published on trauma-informed education, stress in nursing, and evaluating DEI in curricula. Sally is a Reiki Master, Therapeutic Touch Practitioner, and facilitator of classes on both Western mental health and alternative strategies like EFT. She counsels people in using ancient medicine ways, including crystals and indigenous practices, and has performed ceremonies for decades as part of her spiritual work.
